Goal met

Platform fee retained, creator's share transfers via Stripe Connect. Automatic.

Goal not met (All-or-Nothing): every pledge is automatically released or refunded when the deadline passes - the backer is emailed and gets an in-app notification, with zero admin action. One failed refund never blocks the rest; each pledge resolves independently (CampaignResolutionService::releaseOrRefundPledge).

Atomic reward claims

A single conditional UPDATE ... WHERE claimed < quantity means two backers claiming the last unit in the same millisecond can't both succeed. One gets the reward, one gets a clean sold-out.

Cents-precise accounting

Every amount - pledge, platform fee, creator payout - is stored as integer cents, not floats. No floating-point rounding drift, ever, on money.
