Last updated September 11, 2026. This covers LaunchCrowdFund.com and your Members Area account - not the software you install, which runs entirely on your own server under your own privacy policy.
The important distinction: once you install LaunchCrowdFund on your own server, your backers' and creators' data lives in your database, not ours. We never see it, store it, or have access to it. This policy only covers data you give us directly - as a visitor to this marketing site, or as a customer with a Members Area account.
As a site visitor: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and analytics purposes. As a customer: your name, email address, billing information (processed by our payment provider, not stored by us directly), purchase history, and the domain(s) you register your license against.
We have no access to anything that happens inside an installed copy of the Software - no backer names, no campaign data, no payment details processed through your own Stripe account, no database contents. If your license includes an activation check, only the license key and the domain it's registered to are transmitted; no other data about your installation or your users is sent to us.
To deliver your purchase (license key, download access), provide support when you request it, send you update notifications for products you own, and - only if you opt in - occasional product and content updates. We do not sell your data to third parties.
Payment processing is handled by our payment provider, who receives your billing details directly - we do not store full card numbers ourselves. Transactional email is sent via a third-party email delivery service. Each of these processors has its own privacy policy governing the data they handle on our behalf.
We retain purchase and license records for as long as your license is active plus a reasonable period for accounting and support history, or as required by tax law in our jurisdiction. You can request deletion of your marketing contact details at any time; license and purchase records tied to an active license are retained to support your ability to re-download the software and receive updates.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Contact us and we'll act on any valid request within a reasonable timeframe.
This site uses minimal cookies for essential functionality (staying logged into your Members Area) and basic analytics. No third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are used.
If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of your Members Area account after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
